The 9th China International Coking Technology and Coke Market Congress, jointly organized by CISA, CCIA and MC-CCPIT, will be held on 14-16 September 2011 at Sheraton Jinan Hotel, Jinan, China.

In 2010, China’s coke production and coke export reached 388 million and 3.35 million tons respectively, and the import of coking coal topped 47.27 million tons setting a new historic high. In the first quarter of 2011, China's coke production, coke export and coking coal import stayed at high levels reaching 100 million,1.2 million and 10.49 million tons respectively. With the global economic recovery continues and the world steel production poised for further growth in 2011 and 2012, the world coke market will remain dynamic though China’s policy change to lower its GDP growth rate may become a major uncertainty.
